Weapons Clinic
Knife Throwing Clinic and Tournament
Saturday July 16th, at 2:00 PM
Master Madore, 7th Degree Black Belt, will be teaching a KNIFE THROWING CLINIC on Saturday, July 16th, 2011 starting at 2:00 PM..
The price for this clinic will be $80 for each participant, and this price will INCLUDE:
Three well balanced throwing knives * Nylon sheath to store them safely * Practice target.
Any rank, but students must be 18 years of age, or at least 14 years old with parental permission.
LEADERSHIP PROGRAM discounts apply to this and all clinics.
Immediately following the clinic, there will be a Knife Throwing COMPETITON held at 3:00-4:00 at the Chalfont Studio.
Fee will be $25 to compete.
If you are on the LEADERSHIP PROGRAM, remember that there is a discount on all clinic fees and merchandise purchases.
We will be teaching a weapons clinic approximately 4 times a year, in which a short version of the weapon form will be taught. Taking all the sessions of a weapons form will allow the student to learn the entire long form. With this new format, the long forms will be broken down into shorter forms that are easier to both remember and practice. This will allow for students that would normally not be able to take the clinic to be able to participate. It also makes it easier to remember the entire form because it will be taught in sections.

Learning a weapon can help in several ways including more focus, balance, power & strength, and better coordination.
Each Short Form will be a form in itself, meaning you can perform it in Tournaments, Demos, etc.
If you have taken either the Sword or Sai clinic in the past with Master Madore, you may attend this clinic for half price to review. Since the form will be taught a little more in-depth, some new information may be taught within the form that you have not yet seen and would benefit you to learn and practice.
